It’s been a long time coming. After an extended hiatus, we’re happy to bring to you the return of the SoundGroove Sessions Podcast! Our monthly 2 hour mixshow will feature many of the DJs & producers that make up the label doing what they do best with no restrictions or limitations. In past editions, the SoundGroove Sessions Podcast have provided intimate, audio spotlights on underground talent such as Altar, Cytric, Deka and Rick Corbo to name a few and the tradition will continue with each episode. But starting things off for the relaunch is the one that started the SoundGroove phenomenon, DJ/Producer Curtis Atchison of Midnight Society, twisting up a serving of tribal, tech house and vocals along with the beloved K-Bot. SoundGroove ventures into the world of dirty Electro and finds one of NYC’s most exciting newcomers. DJ/Producer Richie Beretta has only been spinning for a short time, but has already done tours in Japan and the United States impressing crowds with his rock-infused Electro, NuDisco style and on the spot mashups. We’re proud to bring to you his debut release, featuring an equally dirty, yet socially aware vocal from UK’s Hip-Hopstress, The Ranger. Now available exclusively on Beatport.

Next week, on November 13th & 14th we will be hosting two Drum Nation events in Miami Beach and New York City!

The first goes down in South Beach on Friday, November 13th as we continue our ever popular party at Twist. Along with regular resident DJ/Producer Curtis Atchison of Midnight Society, this time we have special guest DJ/Producer Gabriel Robella joining us in the DJ Booth for a second time. You may be familiar with his sound thanks to a killer remix to the track “My Own Thing” by Bass Rokwell on SoundGroove Records. As usual, the doors open at 11PM and there’s absolutely no cover charge all night long.

The next night we jet back up to New York for the second Drum Nation event at Club Rebel, following our successful debut last month. This one is going to be the biggest one yet as we now have expanded to two rooms with guest DJs Mike Ivy, Sean McMahon, Lorant, Richie Beretta and Freddy Bastone supplying the dark & dirty underground sounds alongside residents Curtis Atchison & Erik Elias. It’s also a double birthday celebration for Erik and Richie, so bring your presents as well as your dancing shoes! Rebel Saturdays provides two floors with 4 different rooms of music every week. No other club this side of Manhattan provides this much bang for the buck! Doors open for this event at 10PM, with complimentary admission till Midnight. Ladies free before 1AM. Discounted admission for guys before 1AM, and only $15 after that.

Hot off the heels of the DJ Duke release from last month, we look forward to three brand new singles which include the debut release from electro DJ/Producer Richie Beretta, remixes to a solo single from Curtis Atchison of Midnight Society as well as a massive tribal single from Portugal. Plus some of our most popular vocals from Krystal Cruz, Southboys & Dilek Taskin, Kristen Ficara and Avri feat. Johanna are undergoing additional remix treatment. Lastly, but certainly not least… the return of the SoundGroove Sessions Podcast featuring music from Midnight Society recorded live from our last Drum Nation party in New York.
